Speaking of Erasure of the American Dream

FT.com : Real wages fall at fastest rate in 14 years

"Inflation rose 3.1 per cent in the year to March but salaries climbed just 2.4 per cent, according to the Employment Cost Index. In the final three months of 2004, real wages fell by 0.9 per cent.

The last time salaries fell this steeply was at the start of 1991, when real wages declined by 1.1 per cent."

While this news is nothing new, and more evidence why the middle class continues to shrink and head for the history books, it does make me wonder, once again, how these born-again, NASCAR dad, security mom, Dear Leader worshippers continue to kneel at Bush's loins and suckle.

Once again, unless you are making over $200K per year, your continuing votes for Republicans must make them laugh their asses off as they bend you over the table, apply the sand and broken glass, and give you the high, hard one yet again.
