Snopes - Urban Legends Reference Pages: Politics (Service Mettle)
Bad news, sort of.
Most people know snopes.com has the best myth "debunking" info on the web. On the other hand, they lean a tiny bit right and can equivocate on things that favor the right but are not indisputable. (For example, there was a tiny bit of defense of Charlie Daniels' song that clearly uses a slur, "raghead", as a metaphor.)
Anyway, their account of Kerry is by far the most factual I've seen that tries to look at both sides; his critics and supporters.
I'm waiting for snopes.com to publish the goods on Bush being AWOL. Do the neocons really want to compare war records?
