The Bush administration, and neocons in general, have had a very "loose" definition for a recession these last 8 years.
Who wants to bet in January '09, they will begin screaming at the top of their lungs about how bad the economy is; as if it just started under the new administration.
Given they blame our current mess on the only-2nd-year-in-power Dems; it is to be expected.
