...and said daring person would be lambasted? Not only for the stupidity of suggesting that oil supplies are not unlimited, but the un-American, hippy sonofabitch was fucking dangerous, because we buy SUVs to PROTECT OUR CHILDREN! Please, won't anyone look out for the children?!
Looking at the absolutely plummeting sales of trucks and SUVs, can we assume these rednecks suddenly care more about their wallets than their children's safety?
Or, perhaps, the "children" argument was and continues to be - absolutely fucking stupid.
