Democracy Now! | Bill Moyers Responds to CPB's Tomlinson Charges of Liberal Bias: "We Were Getting it Right, But Not Right Wing"
PBS is one of the few media outlets that doesn't totally suck. I've referenced Moyer's NOW program in this blog. Between NOW and Frontline, the entire sum of "journalism" as practiced by FauxNews and CNN, et. al. cannot equal a couple of hours at PBS.
Since Moyers left NOW, however, host David Brancaccio has seemed slightly cowed. Maybe it's just an unfair, subconscious comparison of his style versus the unflappable Moyers.
However, if Brancaccio is easing up on speaking truth to power, Moyers lays out the reason. The right is working overtime to silence public television.
