About Time

Some of us working drones are fighting back:

"Workers who got three days' notice that their factory was shutting its doors have occupied the building and say they won't go home without assurances they'll get severance and vacation pay."

Unfortunately, I doubt this will evolve into a movement to bring back unions. The average American is incredibly ignorant about the history of the labor movement and how things like anti-child labor laws, overtime, and the minimum wage affect our economy. The middle class would not exist today without the sacrifices made by union members; and the dying middle class of today can be traced to Reagan and his war on unions, living wages, the middle class, and the worship of the corporate welfare.
