I can't imagine how many books will be written asking the question: how did the American people fall for the lies about the Iraq war?
How did the military, after years of building policies and doctrines to prevent another Vietnam War, follow the worst administration ever into another Vietnam War without a significant fight?
How did the American people and the military allow a bunch of tunnel-vision, trigger-happy neocons thwart our efforts to rebuild Afghanistan, thereby taking a huge step in preventing motivation for the next 9/11?
