Take Back The Media

This site has been around forever, but I heard Symbolman is going to Washington to film the hearings on the Downing Street Memo. You won't see any coverage:

first, because Sensenbrenner banned the Democrats from having a hearing in any Congressional building. They were going to hold at the DNC, which the Republikans would have loved. They would have discredited the testimony as liberal propaganda and use as proof the location it was being held at. Less fascist Republikans prevailed, however, and now the hearings will take place in some obscure basement on the Hill that seats about 20 people.

second, because C-SPAN and C-SPAN2 won't be televising the hearings. This is the equivalent of no coverage during the Iran-Contra hearings. Remember when Ollie "Shredder" North testified, all gussied up in his uniform which he had not donned in decades? It was on every fucking channel and then some.
