Back in November, I thought this Iraq war had turned into another Vietnam. However, Faux News and corporate media blithely toed the Bush election message that we were winning. Remember those days?
We put Bremer in, it'll get better.
We put Allawi in, it'll get better.
We had elections, it'll get better.
We leveled Falluja and Najaf, it'll get better.

This is sickening on its face, but it's tragic beyond comprehension to think this war was started using the WMD lie, was decided by Bush and Blair in 2002, was not impeded in any way by people who knew better such as Powell, and is nothing more than a pet project by Wolfowitz endorsed by the dumbest President in modern history.
