Microsoft Is So User Focused

I have a Hotmail account, for the sole purpose of signing in to Messenger without opening my real email account to waves of spam. Microsoft had improved the spam floods at Hotmail somewhat, and I was able to opt-out of MS-generated spam through a link.

Emphasis on "was able to." Got a Gates' spam today, and looked for the link to block it. There isn't one. They call their spam "letters" and tell their dear users to stuff it if they don't enjoy it.

"Free Hotmail users: If you do not wish to receive Hotmail member letters, you may close your Hotmail account. Thank you for being a Hotmail member."

Of course, it's Gates hardware. He's free to create whatever bone-headed policies he wants; just don't thank me after crapping on my lawn.
